Performance Art

My performance artwork, incorporates burnt pieces of wood and a fire bowl crucible. I interact with the charcoaled wood with reverence, anger, despair and love as ‘burnt sacrifices’ to the Earth. The recorded sound of a bonfire reinforces the ambient energy and echoes an ancient rhythm which enhances my spiritual performative journey. My performance serves as a metaphor for the destruction of our natural world, reinforcing the themes of power and devastation.
